Experience: With nearly two decades of experience in education and a deeply held Christian faith, Mrs. Fery brings a wealth of expertise and faith to our school community.

Mrs. Fery has been an  Instructional Specialist in the Cambrian School District, as well as Valley Christian School, where she has focused on curriculum, assessments, and instruction. She also serves as a BeGLAD (Guided Language Acquisition by Design) certified trainer for schools in our area as well as across the country. Her accomplishments include the creation and implementation of professional learning communities, management of reading intervention programs, and leadership of teacher professional development programs for elementary educators. During her time with the Cambrian district, her work gained national attention from the directors of BeGLAD and was documented by the “Advancement with Ted Danson Docuseries” on Bloomberg TV as well as Amazon Prime TV. 

Prior to her role as an instructional leader, Mrs. Fery served as a classroom teacher in the Cambrian School District for seventeen years, earning Teacher of the Year honors in 2014. Mrs. Fery holds a Master’s in Leadership from National University, a B.S. in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and holds both an Administrative Services Credential and a Multiple Subject Clear Teaching Credential.

Hobbies: When Mrs. Fery is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Jason, and their two children.  She can be found outside in her garden or on a hike.  She loves to cook and often hosts friends and family in her home.
