The Lion's Focus
We remain committed to providing students with an academically rigorous, Christ-centered education. We will continue investments in the classroom learning environment, school programs, and tuition assistance for families that need it during these challenging times. We encourage all families and friends of the VCA community to consider a tax-deductible donation to Lions Give as part of your annual giving.
Creating a Culture of Giving
VCA operates under the Independent School Financial Model as do many of our local private school counterparts. This model understands as fact that tuition dollars alone cannot support the breadth and quality of curriculum, activities, and facilities in the Silicon Valley’s private schools.
Gifts to the Lions Give are used during the year in which they are received and are the primary source to cover the difference between the true cost of educating our students and tuition.
These gifts should be given on a level equal to a parents financial ability and personal calling. Achieving 100% participation is our goal. Participation means different things to different members of our community.

One-Time & Recurring Donations
There is no need to wait for an event to give to VCA. Donate any time, or set up a recurring monthly or quarterly gift.
Securities
A gift of appreciated securities and mutual fund shares that are held for more than one year can sometimes be the most economical way to give. Gifts are tax-deductible at the fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift and donors will not have to recognize the appreciation as capital gain.

Matching Gifts
Many organizations match charitable donations and volunteer service hours completed by their employees. Matching gifts can double or triple the size of the donation and allocate your company’s charitable giving dollars to VCA.
