Why VCA: I chose VCA because I wanted to be in a place where I could share the love for Jesus Christ freely with the students. Our family has attended Venture Christian Church for many years and felt God leading us in this direction. I feel blessed and grateful to be a part of VCA!

Experience/education: Over the past 5 years, I have helped out as a teacher’s aide/room parent for my own children’s classes. I have enjoyed working closely with the teachers and watching the students grow along the way. My favorite part of working in the classroom is having the opportunity to bond and love on all the children and create a safe trusted space for them. I’m most excited this year to be able to share the love of Jesus!

Hobbies: The beach is my happy place! I love to go hiking, walking and listening to either Chip Ingram or Rick Warren’s podcast, spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and pickleball.

Interesting facts : My husband and I have been married for 11 years and feel very blessed to have two children attending VCA. I also have been a Hairstylist for the past 20 years. In that, I’ve enjoyed making people feel great about themselves and creating some pretty special bonds over the years.
