WHY VCA: The commitment to Christ-centered education and the real sense of community is what drew me to serve alongside the amazing people at VCA.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Theology from San Jose Christian College, and a Master’s of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary in California. I have over twenty years of teaching experience at the collegiate, high school, and middle school level.

HOBBIES: In my spare time I enjoy fishing, construction, and working on classic cars.

FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE: My life verse is Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

INTERESTING FACTS: My picture appeared in Time magazine when I with hundreds of other Oakland Raider fans ran onto the field when the Raiders beat the Steelers to advance to the 1977 Super Bowl.
