WHY VCA: I love being able to show students that God is interested in them, he loves them, he made their brain and can help them learn and grow in Math, whatever level they are at. Also, God is not separate from our Math education. We don’t learn about God and then learn about Math. God is a part of our learning process, helping us grow and do our best for His glory.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: BS Mechanical Engineering, California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) SLO. After many years in the industry, this is my fourth year teaching at VCA.

HOBBIES: Gardening, baking & traveling. Oh, and of course, coffee, all things coffee.

INTERESTING FACTS: Teaching at VCA is a special honor for me. God so clearly called me to this for this time in my life. My husband and I are both California natives and have enjoyed raising our three sons, who are all adults now, here in Silicon Valley.
